Jayagopal Parla (Jay) is a world-renowned speaker, professor of Ayurvedic medicine and a NAMA registered practitioner. Jay has more than 19 years of experience in Ayurvedic practice and teaching.
He is a professor of Ayurvedic medicine at American University of Complementary Medicine, Beverly Hills, California. He is also a visiting faculty member at Southern California University of Health Sciences, Whittier, California and Japan School of Ayurveda, Tokyo, Japan. His area of expertise includes pain management, chronic health conditions, healthy weight management, musculo-skeletal conditions, skin care, digestive imbalances, women's health and anti-aging therapies.
Jayagopal Parla (Jay) holds an MD (Ayur) in Ayurvedic Medicine from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, India. He also holds a Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Southern California University of Health Sciences and is a certified Yoga teacher.
Anupama Kizhakkeveettil (Anu), BAMS, L.Ac, CMT, Ph.D.
Anupama Kizhakkeveettil (Anu) is a passionate healer, spirited orator and a NAMA registered practitioner. Anu brings depth of research into her practice. She has more than 17 years of experience in Ayurvedic practice. She is a Professor and Program Director at Southern California University of Health Sciences. Anu serves as board member on several national and international organizations.
In addition Anu is a licensed acupuncturist and a certified yoga teacher. Her area of expertise includes stress management, women's health, chronic pain management, musculo-skeletal conditions, geriatrics and preventative care.
Anu graduated with a degree in Ayurvedic Medicine from Mangalore University, India and received a Master's in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Southern California University of Health Sciences. She holds a Ph.D. in public health from Walden University.
Yoko, MAOM. L.Ac
Yoko is a California State Licensed Acupuncturist, who studied and earned a Master's Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from South Baylo University, Los Angeles, California.
Yoko has been a member of the Japanese Acupuncture Association of California since 2013 and studied in post graduate programs in Japan.
She strongly believes that Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine can harmonize our body and mind, and promote health and well-being. Her mission is to provide the highest quality of treatment with each individual and help to achieve optimum health.
Yoko uses a combination of various modalities including Acupuncture, Herbal Medicines, Fire Cupping, Guasha, and Tuina Massage.
In addition to her Acupuncture Treatment, she practices Reiki for balancing energy and promoting healing.
